The Original Bullet Journal® by Ryder Carroll und LEUCHTTURM1917
It is your practical companion for everyday use, for your studies and for work, helping you to organise your everyday life and keep a constant overview of all your tasks, goals, ideas and thoughts. Best of all: You can adapt it to your very own needs and preferences: The first and last pages include explanations and hints for creating the perfect Bullet Journal.
Set up the Bullet Journal: Here’s how it works
The first page of a Bullet Journal is usually used for a legend. Ryder Carroll has already come up with a number of symbols to use – which often end up being modified. It is a customizable system, after all.
An example of a to-do list which uses Carroll’s system: The normal bullet points (made using the dotted rulings) are used for listing individual tasks. If you want to draw up a to-do list for today, all the bullet points are listed, one below the other.
To mark a task as done, you turn the dot of the bullet point into a cross. If a point on the list has not been completed and needs to be moved to the next day, you turn the point into an arrow which points to the right. Beyond this, the possibilities are as diverse as the owners of the Bullet Journal are. You can find more ideas and helpful videos on this topic at www.bulletjournal.com.
