Whether tone-on-tone or as a high-contrast combination, the four new colors invite us to think differently about the details of the things that surround us every day –
and to develop new perspectives. The small symbols combine abstracted design and form elements from the LEUCHTTURM1917 product world – for example, from packaging, ruling patterns or products.

Four colours that activate all the senses
A fresh and lively Apricot, intense and expressive Lobster, luminous and evocative Sky, and noble and mystical Ink. All colours harmonise perfectly with one another. Whether tone-on-tone or as a high-contrast combination, the four new colours invite us to think differently about the details of the things that surround us every day – and to develop new perspectives.
The collection in the new colours 2024 Apricot, Lobster, Sky ans Ink enhances the popular A5 notebook, either as a hardcover or softcover version, and is available in the following rulings: plain, dotted and lined. The collection also consists of pen loops, pencils and the multiple award-winning Drehgriffel Nr. 1 and Drehgriffel Nr. 2 in the four new colours.

The award-winning Drehgriffel Nr. 1
No pen. The name “Drehgriffel” is a German compound noun that directly translates as twist stylus. Its characteristic design makes this writing instrument truly distinctive: a hexagonal body with a pointed tip, which, like the twist button, is in a contrasting colour. The Drehgriffel is made from precision-milled aluminium and brass, then painted and sealed. It uses a spring-loaded twist mechanism.
The Drehgriffel Nr. 1 in the New Colours 2024 is available with a ballpoint or gel refill. To replace the refill, the twist head can simply be unscrewed.
Drehgriffel Nr. 2 – the mechanical pencil.
Made of aluminium, the Drehgriffel Nr. 2 pencil is comfortable to hold and is ideal for writing or other creative uses, such as drawing or sketching. Its lacquered brass tip provides a balanced weight for maximum comfort when writing. In contrast to the Drehgriffel Nr. 1, the fine tip is made of steel, creating a harmonious transition to the 0.7-mm graphite lead. The graphite colour of the distinctive tip and twist button highlights the function and character of Nr. 2.
Colorful accents with smart accessories
Each notebook in New Colours 2024 comes with a matching pen loop and pencil. The pen loop is not only very practical, it is also a stylish design accessory. The pen loop is easily affixed to the back inside cover with the self-adhesive surface. The strong elasticated loop keeps a writing instrument firmly in place - whether it is a thin pencil or the hexagon-shaped Drehgriffel.
